This is the notebook I kept during my time with Mutt Industries. Everyone in the office has one. Whether you're a designer, a writer, or an account manager, you're encouraged to keep a notebook. There are no rules. You can fill it up with anything you want: art, thoughts, inspiration...It's open ended.
"But I'm just not an artist" I remember myself saying.
While not all of the images you see are my own, they are what fed my soul during the time I spent with Mutt. Filling pages with whatever you feel like is exhilarating. There are no rules because it's your own. I cut out pictures from magazines, I even tried drawing. I wrote poems, dreams, and documented funny conversations I had with coworkers.
This is something I'll keep with me forever. It reminds me to stop and play.
